Entertainment activities integrate medical assistance to reactivate and maintain the patient’s personal interests valuing his individuality. The facilitators organize numerous activities, including workshops, shows, recreational moments, parties, professional recreational activities. The main structure, born as a German hospital in the mid-1800s, is located in a building immersed in beautiful park. A few hundred meters from the sea and the center city, the building has undergone various transformations and different uses over time: after a long mutation process it finally became a unique health residence, with a wing dedicated to people with mental disabilities. Nurses, social staff and caregivers combine all type of services to provide the patients with the best support, care and well-being.
